may have been the key "dickhead" involved, and the one who should probably be looked at for at least some ethical issues. If he had connections to the boys he was prosecuting, as stated in the clip. The defense lawyers were presumably just doing their jobs. That's the basis of our system, you get a lawyer to put on a fair defense no matter how apparently guilty you are. Don't know about the judge, but if the defense and the prosecutor had worked out a deal, he may have just accepted it without knowing all the facts.
