That's likely because you don't get out enough to talk to Republicans, which is a routine for me where I live.. Or, for that matter, phone bank, which is what I've been doing all along across the primary/caucus states. Yes, there are some R's who can't tell the difference between a commie and Bernie, but they can't tie their shoes half the time.
There are no negatives with the majority of persons who will decide this election and get out to vote. Over 50% of the electorate is in that category as Independents. The Republicans who cannot stand Trump would rather either stay home in November or vote Bernie.
