They want absolutely no cures -- not for the common cold, not for cancer, not for freakin' diaper rash. Just take a stroll down the health and beauty aid aisle in any grocery store or drugstore. They want their remedies to work just enough to make your condition chronic. Just enough to keep buying their products or to try another one that is a 'miraculous breakthrough' for such-and-such.
