15. Paris is slightly less cool

now that Mitt Romney likes it...but it's still cool enough.

I was in Paris for a few days on a business trip (for a credit card company) about ten years ago. I have hazy memories of lunch with beer, elegant 19th century buildings with ornate iron railings on the balconies, waiters who addressed you formally as "Monsieur", crazy lane-free traffic near the Arc de Triomphe, and the common habit of working for an extra two hours from 5pm to 7pm (which of course isn't that unusual but I wondered if it had more to do with finding an excuse to see one's mistress...).

I'd like to visit again, partially because I'm a fan of French comic book artists (like Moebius) - it would be nice to root around in some of the obscure bookshops in the backstreets of Paris.
