But do you mean that one sentence is in poor taste. Or do you mean what the sentence implies, the US does not do anything constructive to help it's mentally ill? Or do you mean that it's just wrong to imply that a group of, mostly, rich, old, morally bankrupt whores are compared to the mentally ill? I tend to go with the latter as that's the only possible rational explanation why they are like they are.

BTW, I have been diagnosed as mentally ill for nearly 50 years. It's great I can laugh at myself and my condition.
