2. I think that the only way that the people of Florida will wake up

Is when the ‘core’ of what DeSantis represents, hits them in their pocketbook. Because apparently it does not have any impact on their moral sense of responsibility and concerns.

Maybe, Disney will wake up when people (outside of Florida) decide to make a statement - and companies like Disney decide to move to another state, a state that will eventually not float away with the next big hurricane.
