That it will take a lot of hard work, and lots of time, before things are really back to normal again, and America can really be the responsible world leader it used to be in the world. We need to get our own house in order first. And yeah - the "For how long?" question also rings true. If and when the Republicans ever get control of our government, and the White House, again, it may be all over for us and any positive, constructive role in the world.
