then along came 9/11, and the $618 million of US Army Corps of Engineers allocated to the project start-ups, was then gifted by Gov Jeb to his numbskull brother Dubya for the Iraq attack.

I hope everyone enjoyed day 1 of the Iraq invasion, that was the Everglades Restoration Program going up in Shock & Awe smoke. Everglades protection has been pretty much ignored since the Jeb Bush days, and 20 years later it is destroyed by alien species with most of the indigenous wildlife scared off or eaten by Burmese pythons.

Ricky Scott continued the restoration negligence, so the glades are more or less a lost cost forever, because the state and feds let the snake problem get totally out of control, with thousands of baby pythons and eggs spread out all around the glades drainage.
