7. In Indiananpolis the city council went from an even split to 20-5 dem. Dem mayor won 70%+ of vote

Generally the city elections are slightly blue and council is pretty even split, then the GOP always jacks around and gets a dem to step over to Republican Party, but it look like folks are fed up with GOP here. Generally any mayor of Indy only gets 55-56% for a re-election. The reason for the traditional even split is that the city is under Uni-Gov plan and extends to the county lines taking in a lot of surburban areas that trend Republican. Looks like those more suburban areas are going dem next year.
