Somehow, Trump has become the darling of the evangelical right. It makes absolutely no sense to me. Trump is completely amoral, never goes to church, has never talked about his "faith" in a speech that I know of, is greedy, lecherous, and foul-mouthed. He paid off porn stars. He was involved with casinos. Nothing that he does exemplifies the love of Jesus. Why are they so blind to it? That is the one thing that I will NEVER understand.

Of course, a similar thing happened with St. Reagan. I remember reading an article back in the 80s that posed the same kind of question. Reagan, who was a Californian, an actor, and a former Democrat, was a divorced man who never went to church, yet the Moral Majority types like Falwell embraced him with the same fervor as they've embraced Trump. I can't understand it.
