Wyoming officer charged over death of police dog in hot car

3. In 2011, in a Western Pennsylvania city, a police dog died the same way.

A 60-day unpaid suspension resulted for the police officer who left the dog in the police car. I think that there may have been an issue as to whether the car's air conditioner was working properly. As I recall, for several hours, the car remained parked with its engine idling.
