I always get annoyed by these articles about demographic shifts. Hispanic people can be of any race and come in all shades, yet they always like to group it together with actual racial groups. For example, whenever discussing voter ID laws and such, they always lump it together with African-Americans, even though Hispanic is cultural and not biological. And another thing is that they keep saying that whites will soon become the minority in California, but that isn't exactly true; it's just the NON-HISPANIC whites who will be in the minority. Hispanic and non-Hispanic whites will still be the overwhelming majority of our population here.
