He is the worst governor in Louisiana history---and that is quite an accomplishment. He will say anything to kow-tow to the plutocrats and extreme right, and I wouldn't believe anything he says even if his tongue were notarized.

He has given the assets of the state away and now plans to destroy the tax base even further with his ALEC-inspired swap of eliminating income taxes in favor of higher sales taxes.

He closed a nearly century-old mental hospital in Mandeville whimpering that the state can't afford the $1 million cost. And at the same time, he vetoed the renewal of a 4 cent cigarette tax that would bring in $23 million/year because of his wrong-headed right wing ideology to oppose taxes.
