I think of them as a side spin off, but not official.
It's like when TNG came out, and the original fans like me said it wasn't the same
but we got used to it, etc.
Just that the name is alive is a good thing.
Now if only the real world could have what they had, and instantly cure all diseases and stuff.
But it's like the remake of the Prisoner, I thought it was awful.
The 17 original ones were classic. Never come up with writing like that.
(and IMHO Drake was 6).(and 6 might have been 1 all along).
