In reply to the discussion: Israel gave birth control to Ethiopian Jews without their consent [View all]JDPriestly

There are a lot of questions that are unanswered here.
How long did the women take this drug?
And how much was the birth rate reduced?
I have a lot of questions. Women should not be given birth control without their consent, but just what happened is unclear to me. Was it a problem of language? Or was it really a problem of racism? I have difficulty believing that birth control was given for race reasons. But it is possible. I would not first believe that explanation. Rather, I would suspect there was some sort of other problem.
And to what extent was the birth rate reduced? Below the average for Ethiopia? Below the average for Israel? Did a minority of Ethopian women in Israel have a lower birth rate than other Ethiopian women in Israel? The article is incomplete. It does not provide enough information to understand the situation.
