was in office. I did well. Then my IRA went horizontal for most of GWB's two terms. Now, it's back to rising well. I think the take-away from this is: when a Republican is in office, move your savings into bonds and money market. When a Democrat is in office, move your savings into equity and growth.

So far, 2.5% YTD for 2013. If that becomes standard (and frankly, there's no chance of that), it would be 5% monthly for a 60% APR. That would be pretty darn nice, eh?
