5. Sounds like a hoax story - I don't see anything like this outside of RW & gun nut sites

I searched some news sites (as opposed to a web search) and saw nothing.

(I also did a general Google of web sites and that's where I see the gun-nut and RW websites and nothing legitimate).

The Investment Watch blog link that the OP's article links to -- http://investmentwatchblog.com/breaking-confirmed-wal-mart-is-not-going-to-order-any-more-ammo/
is dated January 12 -- if it were true, by now, 2 days later, it would be all over the news.

And if it were true, it would not be good news -- Walmart would only do this for purposes of riling up the gun nuts.
