America is awash in narcissists, some of them extreme, and often sadists

They believe in themselves. They may cloak themselves in religion or
family values, but anything they're in they're in for themselves

These self-aggrandized personalities is what it takes to be prominent
in the world, to crave the spotlight

As narcissists, they don't recognize the ordinary boundaries that the
rest of us do. They think they can tell others what to do, and are
entitled to do so, and all rules do not apply to themselves. They are
so important, and so dominant, that they can do anything they want
to.
