Durbin Urges Illinois Lawmakers To Pass Marriage Equality Bill

1. The very least he can do is any and everything he can do. He is one of the Yes voters on DOMA

and thus the injustices of federal discrimination against even those who live in States that have equality of marriage, are very directly the fault of Dick Durbin and his DOMA voting peers.
Don't get me wrong, I think he's doing the right thing after doing a much worse wrong than he can ever correct in his lifetime.
It's just that no one is forgiven for voting for DOMA while DOMA is the law of the land.
