He was NOT re-elected. The GOP wanted the most regressive taxing plan possible, and the least help for the poor. I read his statement, he was appalled. The religious right is an oxymoron.

Glad that King has finally seen the writing on the wall from the failed philosophy of governing for the rich and against the people, although I thought he was a jerk. May have him confused with someone else, or he's still one but he has heard enough from his constituents to wake up at last.

No better person to tell them off but a fellow repuke. If they could see themselves as many Americans do, they might survive as an opposition party to balance things out, which is what they were supposed to be. Instead, they've been a thinly disguised front for the Koch family. The veil is lifting and people don't like what they're seeing at all.
