Americans didn't choose a divided government---the thug party decided a long time ago to not compromise on anything, even when the ideas originated with them. spending is not "out of control"---the rich not paying their fair share, two unpaid for wars that you voted for and a defense budget that will never see the sharp side of a blade are the problems.
