In reply to the discussion: Breaking: Sec. of State Hillary Clinton Sent to Hospital with Blood Clot Following Concussion [View all]rusty fender
(3,428 posts)83. At Xmas, my right-wing sister said that she did not believe
that Hillary had a concussion. She said that she was faking it to get out of testifying on Benghazi. I told her that if she got her info about this on Fox News then she was wrong because Fox lies like a dog. She was offended and told me not to criticize her Fox News.
I love my sister, but tonight I hope that she feels awful for believing Fox's crap.

No, but it could cause a stroke, that's why they're pumping her with anticoagulants.

Sounds very similar to a stroke. It sounds treatable. I'm glad they got here in there.

She's probably been exhausted, which led to her getting the flu in the first place.

Most clots are in the leg, below the knee. Easily treated, not life threatening or limiting.

They probably couldn't give her blood thinners to prevent a clot because of her head injury.
