6. Europeans know very well what happens when destructive authoritarian parties are not stopped

They suffered the military aggression and mass murder of the German Nazis, the tyranny of the Italian Fascists, Spanish Falangists and other fascist movement, followed by the domination of much of the continent by Stalin's Soviet Union, supported by domestic communist parties.

Millions of Europeans killed, millions more deprived of basic liberties and an entire continent reduced to ruin are why these parties are still shunned.
