In reply to the discussion: Jeb Bush In 2016? [View all]BlueStater
(7,596 posts)97. Who else do they have?
They don't like Christie. Rubio is just an empty suit. Jindal has the charisma of sawdust. Ryan just lost on one presidential ticket as a lackluster VP candidate so his days in the national spotlight are probably over for at least a good while.
Jebbo might win the nomination for the same reason Romney won: his party doesn't particulary like him but they don't really seem to have any better alternatives.

Obviously, a Bush-Clinton election would be a great sign of the vibrant democracy in this country.

That is not why she did not prevail. She would however have beaten McCain had she won the nom.

As long as corporations still run the media, we'll NEVER see a progressive in the Oval Office.

I'm not sure shoving things down throats is a good phrase to use when discussing the Clintons.

I think the taint his brother cast on him will have faded quite a bit by then.

It is sick, isn't it? That these self-serving leeches just never stop plotting their take-over.
