6. I remember from 1967...

...traveling in Spain, and EVERYONE from Europe took their vacations in Spain, because it was "the bargain". You could bum around Spain for next to nothing. Then, almost overnight Spain was no better a deal for travelers than anyplace else in Western Europe. Today, it's a bit cheaper than France, Germany, England, Belgium, etc...but not by much; and certainly not by what it use to be.

Point is, maybe it's time for Spain to accept the fact that it is NOT in the same class as France and Germany, and therefore it needs to accept it and scale back to it's "un-inflated rates". I don't know how all this works out with the people of Spain, but just saying; maybe it's time they get back to reality where they belong?
