3. "forcing a Christian publishing company to provide its employees"

Nov 2012
A federal judge on Friday temporarily prevented the Obama administration from forcing a Christian publishing company to provide its employees with certain contraceptives under the new health care law.

Um, no. Nobody is "forcing" any employer, this one included, to "provide its employees" anything. It's the insurance company that is providing things, based on the policy and the premiums paid. Since birth control is a prescription, it is paid for by the insurance plan just like any other prescription. If the fundies don't like the fact that "certain" prescriptions are written and filled and then paid for by the insurance policy, they should opt for some kind of special "fundie" group policy that specifically excludes "certain" prescriptions (written by doctors allied with satan, no doubt.)

As for the argument that "contraception coverage increases the premium," ask any insurance actuary. They will tell you it has no effect on premiums at all.
