sort of scenario. Many employers or the employers brain dead IT department make the stupid mistake of buying Office 365 and forcing employees to use it. Its a ripoff. Windows has become one of the worst IT products on the market. Microsoft is an abusive monopoly that should have been broken up back when Bush let them off the hook. LibreOffice is more than good enough for the vast majority of users trapped into using MS Office 365. Thunderbird is a much better email application than Outlook. There are plenty of better alternatives to "Teams". Edge is inferior to Firefox and Chrome. Almost any version of Linux is far better than being locked into Windows 11 and its forced signup to a Microsoft "account". Additionally I will never understand why any progressive uses anything from a monopoly like Microsoft. (or Apple)
For most home users there is an alternative. They just have to have the courage to walk away from Microsoft's grip.
