16. My problem is with the word 'riot'

which usually indicates things like property damage, violence, and other significant injuries -- none of which happened.

There were 4 arrests total, all for disturbing the peace type reasons. There was one Obama sign burned, and no one was hurt or other property damage done.

It was a protest -- which included racist elements -- and the reporting of that was certainly reasonable and "news". But to report it as a riot, given the long history of the university in regards to riots, was extreme and inflammatory.
