8. "fiscal cliff"

This was the mantra on the screens of public TVs showing "news" in the building I work. I thought, "Yeah, right...the 'fiscal cliff' you scum in the GOP created with your irresponsible stewardship of the country's economy."

Bill Clinton left office with a surplus: it took Boy George and the Repubs to turn that into a multi-trillion dollar deficit what with tax cuts for the rich and getting us into two wars. Now they want us to forgo our Social Security and Medicare to make up for it!

"Right conditions?" Yeah, the right conditions meaning let the Bush tax cuts expire and use that money for infrastructure and job creation. That would be a start toward the "right conditions."

It may be that the wealthy will have to start working for a living...
