The right wing is flipping the f* out. Guilty conscience? Why would they be worried? Aren't we supposed to be a bastion of democracy and free votes? What was their talking point when they started dismantling everyone's rights with the Patriot Act, "if you don't have anything to hide, you don't have anything to worry about," just sit back and look the other way.
