33. Rhetorical device common among *rumpists

What bothers me is how specifically 'looking-glass' were his comments. He posed an implausible "Marxist" cabal in the military when the likely-hood of a right-wing putsch emerging from the military is supported by actual evidence (how many insurrectionists/paramilitary have military/police background?).
Is this deliberate smokescreen? Was he sitting around with his cohort and strategize 'if I make this claim we will achieve both-siderism", to the usual effect. Isn't that how propaganda is done. Trump offers many similar examples on so many topics...its a technique.
