There's no herd immunity, though since I'm not a scientist I'm not exactly sure what that means. But that's okay. If I have to get a Covid vaccination every year, as I get my flu shot every year, that's fine.
If businesses and institutions impose vaccination requirements and it goes to the courts, so be it. If people quit because of too many unvaccinated co-workers and it goes to the courts, so be it. If the stark divide means more redhats die, so be it. If smart people continue to wear masks to protect themselves and others, great. It's not that big a burden. I don't care if it affects sporting events. I understand that a large percentage of military personnel are refusing the vaccine. I hope the military develops a plan to toss them out. Regarding the impact on our military preparedness, you got it. I don't care. The Pentagon will figure out a way. Or not. And we may have to deal with harsh realities in the years to come. Don't care.
In the meantime, Dems have the WH, House, and most of the Senate. They need to do everything possible to lock in Joe Biden's new New Deal and to ensure that the DOJ brings as many of these extremists, from the former guy on down, to trial.
