He walked a razor's edge until Nixon/Kissinger had him overthrown in favor of a right wing military that collapsed to the Khmer Rouge. Then the massacre began. He tried to keep his country as safe as he could from the Americans and the Vietnamese. Shame on the USA for not canceling the fraudulent debts on this country from the sham governments they installed! Shame on the USA for not paying reparations to Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Shame on the USA for not removing the land mines made in the USA, imported in secret, and that to this day kill and maim throughout SE Asia! A debt is owed. This man was a testament to the fight against American imperialism.
