(2,312 posts)Joe Biden will win the electoral vote from NE-2, which covers most of the Omaha metro area, including the city of Omaha. These attendees probably came from Fremont, Columbus, Falls City and all the other MAGA-choked areas outside of Lincoln and Omaha.
Nebraska has about 1.9 million residents, so the three Congressional districts have about 633,333 people in each.
NE-1 contains Lincoln (300,000 people, with more Democrats than Republicans) and most of the rest of the eastern part of the state. Unfortunately, that other half is overwhelmingly Republican, so Lincoln hasn't had a Democrat representing it in the U.S. House since the 1960s.
NE-2 is the city of Omaha and a few suburbs to the west and southwest. It is not reliably Democratic, but it voted for Obama in 2008.
NE-3 is the western part of the state, more like Wyoming than Iowa. It votes overwhelmingly Republican.
