Really?

Are you serious?

The debate was last night. There are two more debates to go and now Romney hass out himself in a box that he cannot get out of without angering his base and suppressing the enthusiasm of the right OR coming clean as a prevaricating piece of shit that only wants the title of "President" but really has no idea what he would actually do if he got there.

Lying to the extent that Romney did last night has consequences. He sold his future for a temporary boost in opinions and he did it whole hog with nothing held back.

Taxes? Who says I am going to cut upper income taxes? Not me...
Top priority? Its ALWAYS been jobs, jobs, jobs....you know, just like that REALLY popular Republican House said....
Health Care? OF COURSE, I cover pre-existing conditions....there are just no actual provisions in anything I support that does....
Medicaid and Medicare? No, no, no, I did not mean to have anyone believe they would be "vouchercare"...

Romney's debate performance was more akin to this Eric Idle classic Monty Python skit character....and President Obama's debate performance was every bit the man being fed the unbelievable nonsense:

Bottom line is this - Romney now has to answer for his sudden (and drastic) changes to policy positions that he had been running on for YEARS. The election is 5 weeks away and Mitt essentially walked away from several of his major positions in 90 minutes. There will be consequences for such a rash decision and as the debate fades away and Big Bird becomes the lasting image of it, I believe President Obama has allowed Mitt to walk himself right into a corner that he can't get out of in time to swing this election.

As in 2007 and again in 2008, and as is usually the case for No-Drama-Obama, Chill the Fuck out! I Got This!
