We could just call it a bad flu season.

Rising hospitalization and ICU rates? Rising deaths?

Same answer. Or maybe Jesus is mad at us.

Rising test positivity rates?

Ooops, forgot, we're not testing so no problem.

Or we're deliberately testing the wrong people to make the results look worse than they are. No wonder Jesus is mad at us.
