The Supreme Court struck down a similar Texas requirement in 2016 when conservative Justice Anthony Kennedy, who retired in 2018, joined the four liberal justices to defend abortion rights

This means Roberts voted with the CONservatives, as he was on the Court at the time and was certainly never known as one of the "four liberal justices".

So is there the slightest chance that Kavanaugh or Gorsuch will be a "liberal" vote? No, not really.
