Sep 2012

We were very close to takeoff, when all of a sudden, you could hear all these alarms coming from the cockpit. They brought the plane to a screeching halt. It took four hours to replace the fuse that had blown or whatever.

As a side excitement, one guy demanded to be let back on the plane to retrieve his carry on, which he had left when we deplaned. They told him he couldn't because the power had been shut down and the plane was dark. He screamed and yelled and carried on like a two-year-old, threatening to sue the airline. Finally, they relented and said he could go on as long as he realized the danger. A few minutes later he came back out. He had fallen in the dark and broken his arm. He was screaming and yelling and carrying on like a two-year-old and was threatening to sue the airline for exposing him to such dangerous conditions.
