41. I have guests from Sweden this week

A former exchange student and s.o.

I was discussing this story with the s.o. and learned that in Sweden, there isn't a bail system. So if you get arrested, you stay in jail until you go to court. Usually 2 weeks to a month, which is bad only if you are innocent. And the time you spend before the hearing (or trial) is deducted from your sentence. I guess there is video of the situation, and asap rocky pleading self-defense might not work, as he continued to beat on the person after he was knocked down and self-defense ends when the threat is gone?
