The amount spent by one side in the most expensive House race in 2010 was less than $12 million. As of the end of July, President Obama had raised around $350 million. In the 2008 election, the combined spending was $1.3 billion. You think that one Congressional district in Wisconsin is going to receive twice as much money as President Obama has raised for his national campaign and nearly half of what President Obama and McCain spent in 2008? THe entire population of the First Congressional District in Wisconsin is around 670,000, including children. The largest number of voters in any First District election has been around 350,000. So you think that over $1500 per voter is going to be spent in the district? There isn't enough TV time in Kenosha to spend that much.
