"Mr. Prime Minister - We must inform you in no uncertain terms that any unilateral attack on Iran by your country is contrary to the national interests of the United States, and will be taken as a hostile and aggressive act in violation of international law norms, forcing us to take immediate action to neutralize any and all military forces involved. I am delivering the same message to Tehran.
"The party that shoots first will be shot by us. This is not open to debate or question. That is all."
