Trump promised $12 billion to the soy farmers, but will only be delivering $4 billion to them. We'll see if even that turns out to be another lie.

He wants to impose 25% on Canadian cars and car parts on Saturday if there is no "deal" Friday, a week before the Sept 6 date mentioned in the excerpt in the OP.

tRump has more to lose in these trade disputes he has created than the other sides. But is he smart enough to figure that out? In time before the midterms?

Third Quarter results are due in October, which may show a drop in business activity because everyone was rushing to get metals imports and exports in and out of the doors before the close of Second Quarter because tariffs came in at the end of it. That artificially created a bulge that made the Second Quarter look good.
