16. I grant you that. How in the heck was Sanford even viable in politics after what he pulled?

Still, he didn't lose because of what happened long ago. He lost because he wasn't a strong enough Trump supporter. And that's bad news for the country, since it tighten Trump's reigns on normal Republicans. The ones who would actually do something, if Trump shut down the investigation.
