1. Maybe the DCCC needs to trust local voters more.

Hiding in a corner and not offering real alternatives hasnít moved Democrats very far in the last few years. I think the party leaders are underestimating the energy and attitudes of the grass-roots campaigns sparked by Trumpís election. The DNC needs to get the message too. I think there was a poll a few weeks ago where a majority of voters said they supported single payer, Medicare like healthcare, yet party leaders are afraid to support candidates who push for it. Thatís why Iíve stopped donating to the DNC and DCCC and instead send my money to local and state candidates. I was irritated that the DNC provided no support for the candidate in Arizonaís recent special election, and she lost by only 5 percentage points. Money and national support might have gotten her over the line.
