6. Campaign is dead in the water.

Not even Ashcroft, Bond or even Steelman can save the campaign.

The biggest key SHOULD be the Democratic objection to changing a person after the primaries are done. Deadline is tomorrow, and the objection should be based on the last-minute changes. I bet we can pull a Rove by finding a Republican who voted for Akin suing the Republican Party to keep him in the ballot instead of throwing Akin under the seat.

They should completely write off Missouri and focus on losing the rest of their seats - all 10 of them.
