really combat this. Of course the technical stuff can be dealt with, but the influence campaigns using social media are what is really making things worse. Unless the influential republican politicians and talking heads get on the right side and help convince their base that this isn't acceptable, then this is going to continue to be a problem. But if we all came together to work against these Russian trolls (and whoever else) by ignoring and calling them out even when they support "our side" or our narrative, then we can lessen their effects. I'm not sure I have much faith in the American people to do that at this point in time.
