9. You need about 179,000 jobs just to keep up with population growth

So pardon me if I don't believe the numbers accurately reflect the unemployment rate.

And the participation rate is at 1977 levels. This would be good If the middle class had the same sized paychecks as a portion of total wage growth and benefits of 1977 workers. But with today's shrinking pay and benefits you need more family members woking just to make ends meet.
