an effective interviewer at this point. If he goes for the kill, which he can be very effective at, the interviewee will likely openly mock him. Who, in the media, has come back from this sort of thing? He's so damned intelligent, especially with regard to all things in the ME. This is very damaging to his credibility as a journalist.

"Suspension" = we're easing him out.
