According to some posters here, so "rigorous" that it takes "6 months" and therefore should not be expanded to all firearms purchases because of the incredible burden it would place on people attempting to buy a gun. It seems your are implying that such a background check is superficial and therefore should also not be implemented.

So which is it, "rigorous" or superficial?
