This is honorable. I wonder if he may be reflecting on what his legacy will be. I would be surprised if he seeks re-election again although one never can tell. He may be thinking about how he will be treated in posterity and considering the importance of standing for something rather than against something. Who knows. It would be a nice change if this happened.
